It is located in the narrow bottom of the upper part of Ba\u0161ka grapa next to the Jesenice-Se\u017eana railway line and on the road from Bohinjska Bistrica or \u017delezniki via Petrovi Brdo to Most na So\u010di. It has just under 600 inhabitants (as of 2020).\\n\\nThe Tourist Association Podbrdo has been operating since 1999.
