The team of volunteers consists of teams and individuals, most of whom come from the nearby municipalities (Tolmin, Cerkno, Železniki, Bohinj and Gorenja vas - Poljane), all part of the running route.
We call the team of volunteers the 'team with a heart', because the Podbrda Trail Running Festival would not have been possible without such a dedecated team. Each individual contributes a lot, each one adds a stone to the mosaic that we have been COMPLETING together for many years.
It has happened that there were more volunteers on the tracks than runners. And we consider that to be the great honor that so many people stand by us, support the project and co-shape it.
It is also nice to listen to the stories when runners are describing the atmosphere along the running trails, for which we also need to thank the volunteers. Every smile, every nice and encouraging word, all the effort volunteers put into the event creates the Podbrdo Trail Running Festival even more charming.
